Ahmed Ouerfelli was judge for more than 20 years. He was appointed as Judge at the Ariana Court of First Instance since 15 September 1995 and then at the Tunis Court of Appeal (The Premier President’s section, ruling mainly on arbitration cases), before joining the Centre of Legal and Judicial Research (CEJJ), where he spent 10 years, drafting laws in the field of investment, trade, procedure and taxation.
In Spring of 2015, he founded “Ouerfelli Attorneys & Counsels”, a law office specialized in business law, including arbitration, banking, corporate law, taxation law and commercial law in general law.
In March 2011, he became the legal adviser in Chief to the President of the Republic of Tunisia and collaborated with three successive Presidents.
Ahmed Ouerfelli has published several books mainly on corporate law, tax law. He also published numerous books on Arbitration and other topics.
