Judge Dr. Abdulaziz Al Nasser
Judge of the Appeal Court
Abdul Aziz has served in the judiciary since 1426 H as he was appointed as assistant judge in Riyadh and Ta'if. Then, he was appointed as a judge in the Criminal Court of Tabuk, then a judge in the General Court in Riyadh. He is currently a judge in Court of Appeal. He also served as deputy minister of justice and head of advisor's unit in the Minister's Office. He was also appointed as deputy minister for laws and international Cooperation. He served as deputy minister of Justice for real estate notarization and registration. He participated in the preparation and discussion of a number of laws and regulations, such as the Law of Procedure before Shari'ah Courts, Criminal Procedure Law, Notarization Law, Implementing Regulations of the Arbitration Law and other regulations and laws. Abdul Aziz holds a bachelor's degree from Faculty of Sharia at Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University and master's degree in Sharia policy from the Higher Judicial Institute. He also holds a doctorate in Shari'ah Policy from the Higher Judicial Institute. He issued the regular provisions of the arbitral tribunal in the Saudi Arbitration Law (PhD) under the supervision of H.E. Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh, the President of the Shura Council. He also published a book entitled "The Collector of Procedural Laws- Laws of Procedure, Arbitration Law, Enforcement Law and Code of Law Practice" – co-authored.
