Dr. Yousel Hamed Alyagout holds the following titles:

·         PHD in Private Law, University of Lorraine, Nancy, France, Title: (Arbitration in Islamic Financing Contract Disputes).

·         Master Degree in Private Law, University of Strasbourg, France. Title: (Loyalty Acts in French and Kuwait laws).

·         Master Degree in the Private Law with Insight, College of Graduate Studies, Kuwait University, Title: (Electronic Signature and Consumer Protection in E-transactions).

·         Bachelor Degree in Law from College of Law, Kuwait University in 2007.

 

He holds or has held the following positions:

·         Faculty Member in College of Law, Private Law Department, Kuwait University, from the academic year 2017-2018.

·         Lawyer registered in Kuwait Lawyers Society and practicing the profession in Al Yaqout Legal Group for Advocacy & Consultations from 01.07.2007 to 2009.

·         Former head of Lawsuits and Arbitration Section in AlYaqout Legal Group. During this period, I was responsible for preparation of initiatory pleadings, writing of defense memoranda, pleading and attendance before civil and criminal courts, and also preparation and drafting of contracts and reviewing thereof.

·         Scientific Assistant in the private law department at the Faculty of Law Kuwait University (2009)
